Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a Level I Occupational Therapist to support NICU services at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox and Lurie Children’s in downtown Chicago. The role focuses on evaluating patients, creating and adjusting treatment plans, and educating families.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current license or eligibility for Illinois licensure.
• CPR certification as per American Heart Association (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Evaluates each patient according to discipline-specific guidelines and protocols.
• Establishes age-appropriate care plans and goals.
• Re-evaluates effectiveness and adjusts the care plan accordingly.
• Educates patients and families to meet learning needs.
• Collaborates with families, physicians and rehab staff during planning and treatment.
• Participates in clinics, rounds, and professional development activities.
