Job summary

St. Louis Children’s Hospital is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide skilled speech and swallowing therapy in an acute care setting, including NICU and pediatrics. The role involves evaluation, treatment planning, family education, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Pathology
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• ASHA certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Establishes treatment plans and delivers therapy considering discharge needs and equipment.
• Educates and collaborates with patients, families, and other providers; referrals as needed.
• Delegates to assistants, techs, and students with clear competency guidance.
• Completes documentation per department policies.
• Provides assessment, reassessment, and/or consultations for Speech Services.
