Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) in Medical City Plano to oversee high quality, patient-centered nursing care across a shift.

You will collaborate with the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate care in accordance with policies and to support superior patient outcomes. The CNC role emphasizes staff development, effective admission/discharge flow, and continuous improvement of nursing strategies.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years NICU experience.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality patient-centered care.
• Monitors and evaluates nursing care in collaboration with management to support clinical outcomes.
• Collaborates with managers to create teamwork that improves outcomes and service.
• Supports patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Oversees staffing scheduling and labor productivity within patient care needs.
