HCA Healthcare seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN in the Medical Care Unit to promote growth and lead a team to achieve excellent patient outcomes. The CNC will mentor staff, coordinate care, and ensure alignment with policies while supporting a compassionate, high-quality patient experience.

The role emphasizes admission/discharge processes, collaboration with leadership, and the implementation of nursing strategies to improve engagement and throughput in a dynamic, acute care setting.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Current RN License in Virginia or Multistate Compact.
• 3+ years of nursing experience in acute care hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year of medical surgical experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• 1 year of leadership experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS certification.

Aufgaben

• Assist with admission and discharge processes for efficient throughput and high quality care.
• Participate in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services.
• Collaborate with managers to create teamwork and improve outcomes.
• Support a patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Operationalize nursing strategies (rounding, hourly rounds) to boost engagement.
• Provide recommendations on interviewing and training staff, and performance evaluations.
• Assist with staff scheduling and labor management.
