Job summary

Shady Grove Medical Center, part of Adventist HealthCare, is seeking an experienced RN for the NICU to deliver high‑quality care aligned with our mission. The role emphasizes patient/family education, evidence‑based practice, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

You will mentor staff, manage care plans, and respond to evolving patient conditions while upholding ANA standards and Adventist HealthCare values. Part-time with rotating days/nights and weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• MD RN license and NCLEX passed.
• BLS certified; ACLS/PALS/NRP as NICU requires.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience.
• Ability to use electronic resources and reference materials.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families across continuum of care.
• Serve as a role model for junior staff; support best practices.
• Demonstrate professionalism and Adventist HealthCare values.
• Use equipment correctly and delegate non‑nursing tasks.
• Develop care plans and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Mentor students and team members in patient‑centered care.
• Conduct patient/family rounds and apply evidence to practice.
