Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital NICU is seeking a part-time RN for 0.6 FTE night shifts (7pm–7am), 24 hours per week. Prior level 3 NICU experience is recommended. The role focuses on delivering evidence-based nursing care and participating in quality initiatives within a supportive team.

The successful candidate will document in the EHR, collaborate with caregivers, and uphold patient safety and ethical standards across the continuum of care.

Formación

• Graduation from a Board of Nursing approved program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in NY.
• BLS certification is required or will be required.

Responsabilidades

• Engages in unit governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and ethics.
• May administer medications and treatments per protocols.
• Maintains accurate EHR documentation and may float to other units as needed.
