Job summary

Lutheran Hospital of Indiana is seeking a Part-time NICU RN for night shifts from 7p to 7a. This .6 FTE (24 hours weekly) role is based in a Level 2 NICU with 24 beds.

The RN provides patient-centered care following the nursing process and collaborates with physicians, nurses, and allied staff to deliver high-quality neonatal care. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage starting in the first month, plus a sign-on bonus and a 401(k) with a 50% match up to 6%.

Qualifications

• RN licensed and currently in good standing.
• Competent in nursing process and patient assessments.
• Strong communication with care teams and families.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced NICU environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess vital signs and patient status continuously.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Manage feeding and nutrition for neonates.
• Support procedures and assist with emergencies as needed.
• Educate families on care plans and post-discharge steps.
