Job summary

Community Health Systems, Inc. seeks a part-time NICU Registered Nurse for night shifts (7p–7a, 24 hours/week, .6 FTE) in Fort Wayne, Indiana. You will provide patient-centered care in a Level 2 NICU setting, coordinate with physicians and nurses, and support families with education and treatment plans.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and strong nursing skills. Responsibilities include assessments, med administration, emergencies, and adherence to infection control and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with state licensure required.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• Experience in NICU or neonatal care is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of nursing process and patient care documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Document assessments and changes in condition.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor adverse effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams for care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions.
