Job summary

Dupont Hospital, a 131-bed acute care facility in Fort Wayne, IN, seeks a NICU RN to provide patient-centered care in the 29 Room NICU. The role involves coordinating care, monitoring patients, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a Level III Neonatal Care Center environment.

The RN will administer medications, support feeding and ventilation as needed, and participate in performance improvement initiatives. A 9p-7a FT .9 FTE schedule is required with weekend and call duties.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care.
• RN state licensure is required.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in life-saving CPR and related activities.
