Job summary

The Hospital of Central Connecticut is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the NICU in the Family Birth Place. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is staffed by a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists and neonatal nurses.

Under nursing leadership you will develop care plans using evidence-based practices to meet the needs of newborns and families, with growth opportunities through the Nurse Residency program and tuition support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Associate's degree in Nursing.
• Successful completion of nurse residency, if applicable.
• Must be able to effectively communicate information in English.
• One year of RN experience with at least 1000 hours of clinical practice.
• Registered Nurse licensure in CT and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality neonatal care.
• Deliver care aligned with evidence-based nursing practices.
• Provide education and support to families of NICU patients.

Education
