Job summary

The Hospital of Central Connecticut is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the NICU within the Family Birth Place. You will provide evidence-based nursing care in a high-acuity neonatal unit, under the direction of Nursing Leadership and in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include developing care plans for complex patients and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care, with opportunities for graduate RNs and ongoing professional development within Hartford

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• Successful completion of nurse residency, if applicable.
• One year of experience with a minimum of 1000 hours of clinical experience as a licensed registered nurse.

Responsibilities

• Under the general direction of Nursing Leadership, develops a plan of care for complex patients.
• Utilizes evidence-based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
