The Hospital of Central Connecticut is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the NICU in the Family Birth Place. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is staffed by a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists and neonatal nurses, with a focus on evidence-based practice and family-centered care.

The role involves developing care plans for complex cases, coordinating with a diverse healthcare team, and advancing clinical responsibilities over time in a high-reliability environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Develop a plan of care for complex patient populations.
• Provide nursing care in accordance with state act and hospital policies.
• Demonstrate evidence-based practices in the NICU setting.
• Precept and charge nurse duties as needed.
