Job summary

The Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain, CT, seeks a Registered Nurse for the NICU in the Family Birth Place. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is staffed by a multidisciplinary team providing care for premature and ill newborns.

Under Nursing Leadership, you will deliver evidence-based care, develop care plans for complex patients, and collaborate with physicians, therapists and families, while meeting state nursing practice standards and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• Successful completion of nurse residency, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provides plan of care for complex patient populations.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Adheres to State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies while delivering care.
