Job summary

The Hospital of Central Connecticut is seeking a Registered Nurse to work in the NICU within the Family Birth Place. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is staffed by a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists, pediatric physician assistants, and neonatal nurses.

You will provide high-level nursing care and collaborate with a diverse care team. Under Nursing Leadership, you will develop care plans for complex patients, ensuring adherence to the State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• Successful completion of nurse residency, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Develops a plan of care for a complex patient population.
• Delivers evidence-based nursing care in accordance with policy and act.
• Acts as preceptor and charge nurse as needed.
