Job summary

The Hospital of Central Connecticut in Hartford HealthCare’s network is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the NICU in the Family Birth Place. The NICU team uses evidence-based practice to care for premature and ill newborns, staffed by neonatologists, PAs, and specialized nurses.

Under Nursing Leadership, you will develop care plans for complex patients, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support families throughout the newborn's hospital stay.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Associate’s degree in Nursing.
Successful completion of nurse residency, if applicable.
One year of experience with a minimum of 1000 hours of clinical experience as a licensed registered nurse.
Registered Nurse, State of CT
Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA)

Responsibilities

Develop a plan of care for complex patients and populations.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary NICU teams for optimal outcomes.
Support families and provide patient education throughout the care process.
