Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in New Jersey to provide high-quality patient care in a collaborative team environment. The role includes evidence-based nursing, strong patient communication, and precise medication administration.

Qualifications include an NJ RN license and BLS/CPR certification; six months of experience or Nurse Residency participation is required. On-call 16 hours per month, with a starting rate of $45.14 per hour and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association is required within 60 days of hire.
• Six months of nursing experience or active Nurse Residency Program
• BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing practices per current evidence-based research and standards of care to ensure safe and individualized patient care.
• Ongoing communication with patients and health care team regarding patient status and care plans.
• Medication administration using bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
• Point-of-Care electronic documentation of assessments, plans, interventions and evaluations.
• Patient and family education to optimize health and disease management.
• Multidisciplinary discharge planning for safe transition of care.
