Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered RN license required.
• Minimum of one year experience in a Level III NICU or comparable acute neonatal setting preferred.
• Current certifications in BLS and NRP required.
• Demonstrated competency in advanced neonatal nursing procedures.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, assess, and document vital signs and medical status of neonates.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Implement and adjust individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Operate specialized medical equipment used in neonatal intensive care.
• Provide education and emotional support to families of NICU patients.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with facility policies and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and best practices in neonatal care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
