Job summary

St. Anthony North Hospital is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to promote optimal patient health, safety, and well-being.

You will collaborate with the healthcare team and patient/family, applying the nursing process within a mission-driven environment. Responsibilities include assessing needs, planning and implementing care, and documenting outcomes while adhering to standards and the State Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing is required.
• RN License in state of employment is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) by American Heart Association is required.
• NIHSS within 6 months of hire or internal transfer is required.
• Physical requirements: Medium work, lift up to 50 lbs., occasional; up to 20 lbs. frequently; up to 10 lbs. constantly.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records, and clinical data.
• Evaluate patient’s response and intervene to ensure optimal patient outcome.
• Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in a variety of therapeutic/diagnostic interventions including IVs, incision/wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collections.
• Maintain patient charts and records thoroughly and confidentially.
• Document ongoing status, interventions, patient response and outcomes in an accurate, timely manner.

Education

Associates Degree in Nursing

Nursing Diploma or by endorsement

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
