Akron Children's seeks a NICU/PICU Flex Staff Nurse for a full-time day shift (7am-7:30pm, 36 hours/week). The role provides clinical nursing care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Neonatal Intensive Care Units based on unit needs, delivering patient- and family-centered care with specialized knowledge and judgment.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care; leading and mentoring staff; participating in quality improvement and safety

Competenze

• BSN required or must be obtained within 5 years from date of hire.
• Current Ohio RN license is required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, and TNCC within 1 year of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of RN or direct patient-care experience in acute hospital setting preferred.
• Experience with EPIC or similar EMR preferred.
