Qualifications

• BSN required or must be obtained within 5 years from date of hire.
• Active Ohio RN license.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EPIC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and direct nursing care with family-centered focus.
• Provide care addressing physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs.
• Demonstrate leadership and professional duties.
• Perform patient-centered care duties.
• Engage in quality improvement and safety activities.
• Mentor and precept new staff as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure quality care for pediatric patients.
