Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at American Fork Hospital in American Fork, Utah. The position is part-time, 24 hours per week, with two 12-hour shifts and a variable schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Starting pay is $18.40+ per hour, depending on patient care experience. Benefits include health, vision, dental, 401(k), and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in Utah or equivalent with active status.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy and clear written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver basic patient care including toileting, hygiene, mobility, and comfort.
• Record patient care data and report changes promptly to the RN.
• Collaborate with the care team and assume HUC duties as needed.
• Transport medications to the RN and assist with unit operations.
• Foster a safe environment and follow unit policies and procedures.
