Intermountain Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the NICU at American Fork Hospital. Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Utah.
• One year of patient care experience preferred in a hospital setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to use computer systems for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and deliver basic patient care (toileting, bathing, linen changes, hydration) with excellent customer service.
• Report and document patient care findings promptly and coordinate with the RN.
• May perform telemetry duties and monitor patients on unit.
• Transport medications to RN and assist on the clinical unit.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
• May serve as health unit coordinator (answer phones, transcribe orders, manage unit records).
• Follow plan of care and maintain a safe environment.
