Endeavor Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL, invites experienced RNs to join a NICU Nurse Transition Program. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week with nights (7 pm–7:30 am) and occasional day shifts during training and precepted rotations.

The program includes 16 weeks of hands-on precepted learning in a Level III NICU, with education time and supported progression into NICU nursing. Requires IL RN license, BLS, and NRp within six months, plus 1 year inpatient RN experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Nursing; RN license in Illinois.
• Current BLS through AHA.
• NRP certification within six months of start date.
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per Illinois RN Practice Act and hospital policies; assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Work with NICU preceptor during 16-week transition program; provide family-centered care in a Level III unit.
