Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking experienced nurses for a NICU Nurse Transition Program at our Level III unit in Naperville, IL. The program runs with a NICU preceptor for 16 weeks, focusing on family-centered care and clinical skill development.

You will provide professional nursing care, monitor progress, and document observations per Illinois RN standards. Eligible candidates have an ADN or better, RN licensure, BLS, NRP within six months, and inpatient RN experience.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; if only ADN, must obtain a BSN within five years of start date.
• Current Illinois RN licensure and BLS through AHA.
• NRP certification within six months of start date; minimum 1 year of inpatient RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in NICU with a preceptor for 16 weeks; participate in family-centered care.
• Assess patient condition, document observations, and delegate tasks as appropriate; ensure safety and quality care.
