Job summary

Endeavor Edward Hospital NICU Nurse Transition Program seeks experienced nurses to transition into NICU care. You will train with a NICU preceptor for 16 weeks in a Level III unit with family-centered care.

Position includes night shifts, with day/evening variations possible during the preceptorship, and travel as needed. Applicants must have an RN license in Illinois, an ADN or higher, BLS, NRP within six months, and at least 1 year of inpatient RN experience.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher in Nursing; BSN within five years if ADN.
• Current IL RN licensure.
• BLS through AHA.
• NRP certification within six months.
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide NICU nursing care under a preceptor in a 35-bed Level III unit.
• Adhere to Illinois RN practice act and hospital policies; assess, plan and document patient care.
