AdventHealth Shawnee Mission in Kansas is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a part-time night shift. Grow with us through a Clinical Ladder program and salary increases based on experience and achievement; deliver comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, educate patients, and collaborate with the care team.

You'll maintain documentation, ensure infection control, provide emotional support, supervise care, and participate in performance improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN license required; BLS certification required; multiple unit-specific certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physiological, psychological, development, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately following orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.
• Coordinate with medical staff and departments to optimize patient care and communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and outcomes in the medical record.
• Evaluate care plans and adjust to improve patient health and outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are met.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate care to members of the healthcare team.
