Job summary

AdventHealth in Kansas is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift position in Shawnee Mission. The role includes comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, medication administration, and patient education within a supportive team.

Eligible clinicians may participate in the Clinical Ladder Program, with potential salary adjustments based on experience, advancement level, and guidelines. State licensing and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's of Nursing is preferred.
• 1+ acute care hospital setting experience preferred.
• Licensure and certifications as listed in the job description.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly evaluate and revise them.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care.
