Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join its team in Kansas. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, and administer medications in alignment with physician orders and hospital protocols.

The position emphasizes interprofessional collaboration, patient education, and delivering high-quality care across the care continuum. Relevant RN licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• RN license and state registration required.
• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
• Ability to work as a team player within a unit.
• Effective verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with EKG as applicable to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological and psychosocial domains.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly evaluate progress.
• Administer medications and treatments safely following orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care.
