Job summary

UH Lakewood Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri is seeking a compassionate NICU Clinical Nurse RN for the 6:45pm-7:15am shift on a part-time basis.

In this role you will assess patients, plan and deliver high-quality nursing care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes for acutely ill neonates. Minimum requirements include MO RN license and BCLS, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current state of Missouri license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients based on diagnosis and care needs.
• Plan, perform, delegate, and evaluate nursing care with expertise.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.
• Participate in committees, program evaluations, research and education.
• Supervise and mentor students.
• Comply with Missouri Nurse Practice Act and regulations.
