Job summary

AdventHealth in Shawnee Mission, Kansas seeks a Part-time Registered Nurse to join the team on Day shift. You will evaluate patient needs, develop care plans, administer treatments, and educate patients while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Associates of Nursing required; Bachelors preferred.
• 1+ acute care hospital setting experience preferred.
• RN licensure and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly evaluate outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care through teamwork.
