Job summary

Banner Health’s NICU at Tucson’s Diamond Children’s Medical Center is a 36-bed Level IV unit delivering developmentally sensitive care to critically ill and premature infants. You’ll work within a family-centered model alongside a multidisciplinary team, supporting NAS care and fetal surgery collaboration.

The role is full-time with varied shifts, offering an 18% night differential and a flat $3/hour weekend differential, and opportunities for growth and collegial mentorship.

Qualifications

• Assess patient needs and develop plans for nursing care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document and communicate progress and changes to care plan.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, and developmental needs.
• Plan and implement nursing care, including discharge planning.
• Coordinate with medical team and family to ensure continuity of care.
• Document assessments, progress, and outcomes in patient records.
