Job summary

Banner Health's University Medical Center Tucson is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). This full-time night-shift role (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) involves delivering specialized nursing care to newborns through young adults up to 22, within a magnet-designated, Level 2 pediatric trauma center.

Candidates should hold a current RN license with BLS, and PICU/critical care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required.
• Background in pediatric ICU/critical care is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, and educational needs and plan care.
• Implement and coordinate the plan of care with the multidisciplinary team.
• Document care, outcomes, and communication with families and physicians.
• Provide supervision and support to other staff to ensure quality care.
