Job summary
The Hospital of Central Connecticut, part of Hartford Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the NICU in the Family Birth Place. You will work under Nursing Leadership with an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care to newborns and their families.
We offer a Nurse Residency program for new graduates, tuition reimbursement, loan forgiveness, wellness initiatives, PTO, health insurance, and on-site parking.
Qualifications
- Must be a Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Associate’s degree in Nursing.
- Successful completion of nurse residency, if applicable.
- One year of experience with a minimum of 1000 hours of clinical experience as a licensed registered nurse.
- Registered Nurse, State of CT.
- Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the NICU within the Family Birth Place.
- Develop care plans following evidence-based practices and NPA policies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to meet physical, emotional, spiritual and educational needs of patients and families.
- Act as preceptor and charge nurse as needed.
- Maintain high reliability and safety standards in patient care.
