Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care within the NW Children’s Neonatal Unit on the night shift. This role supports a 24/7/365 department, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care for newborns and families.

The RN is accountable for nursing practice per the Ohio Board of Nursing and delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs. BSN strongly preferred, with a 3x12 hour schedule and every 3rd weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• RN licensure (Registered Nurse) per Ohio Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification required by American Heart Association.
• Strong patient-care and clinical nursing skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - perform initial and ongoing health status assessments.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - document planned interventions to meet needs.
• Implementation/Evaluation - monitor, document response and adjust plan.
• Leadership - participate in process improvement and quality initiatives.
• Operations - support departmental functions and staffing needs.
