Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus, OH, seeks a registered nurse to provide general nursing care across the continuum in the NW Children's Neonatal Unit. The role operates in a 24/7 environment with an emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork.

The RN is accountable for nursing practice per the Ohio Board of Nursing, delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. BLS is required; BSN is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• BSN strongly preferred.
• 1 year RN experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis: initial, ongoing, and functional health assessments.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning: document interventions to meet patient needs.
• Implementation/Evaluation: evaluate responses and revise care plans as needed.
• Leadership: participate in process improvements for quality and safety.
• Operations: support safe, efficient care within 24/7 unit operations.
