Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Infant Special Care Unit in Evanston, IL. This full-time role (36 hours/week) includes 7:00–19:30 and 19:00–07:30 shifts with weekend rotation and float duties as needed.

The ISCU nurse provides safe, compassionate care and collaborates with the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Requirements include NLN-accredited nursing education, IL licensure, BLS/CPR certification, and at least 1 year of acute care or ISCU experience; BSN

Qualifications

NLN accredited school of nursing required.
BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Provider required (AHA).
Current professional Nursing Licensure in IL required.
1 year of acute care nursing experience or 1 year ISCU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in ISCU.
Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care.
Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Contribute to safety outcomes and promote high quality patient experience.
