Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Infant Special Care Unit in Evanston, IL. This full-time position offers 36 hours per week with shifts 0700-1930 and 1900-0730, including weekends, and float coverage as needed.

You will provide independent, safe nursing care in ISCU, apply the nursing process to patient plans, and lead unlicensed staff in care delivery while collaborating with the care team. IL licensure and BLS/CPR are required, with NICU/ISCU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a NLN-accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL is required.
• BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Providers is required (AHA).
• 1 year of acute care nursing experience or 1 year ISCU experience preferred.
• NICU/ISCU experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with health care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Contribute to safety outcomes and promote high-quality patient experience.
