Job summary

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, ensuring patient safety, documenting in the EHR, and collaborating with the care team to deliver evidence-based care. BLS and active RN license required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license with privileges to practice in the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.
• Must meet physical requirements for patient care and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance, quality initiatives, and evidence-based practice to improve care.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care; involves patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to improve outcomes.

• Float to other units as needed within the service area to meet patient care needs.
