Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures high-quality, patient-centered care, overseeing unit functions during the shift. Collaborating with management, the CNC monitors nursing care, supports staff, and aligns with organizational values to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

• Facilitating admission and discharge processes for efficient, quality care.
• Participating in quality assessments of patient care.
• Promoting teamwork and supporting a patient-first approach.
• Engaging in service recovery and staff development.
• Supporting nursing strategies like employee rounding and engagement initiatives.
• Assisting with staff hiring, training, scheduling, and inventory management.

Qualifications:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (within 30 days)
• NTD Cardiac Stable Module (within 18 months)
• Neonate Resuscitation (within 60 months)
• STABLE certification (within 18 months)
• Registered Nurse with an Associate Degree
