Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures high-quality, patient-centered care and unit coordination during their shift. Collaborating with management, the CNC oversees nursing care, supports staff, and models organizational values to enhance patient outcomes and departmental performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate admission and discharge processes for efficient patient throughput
• Assess and improve the quality of patient care services
• Promote teamwork and support service recovery efforts
• Implement nursing strategies to enhance engagement and service quality
• Participate in staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution
• Manage staff scheduling and ensure appropriate resource utilization
• Oversee inventory and supplies management

Qualifications:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of hire
• NTD Cardiac Stable Module within 18 months
• Neonate Resuscitate within 60 months
• STABLE certification within 18 months
• Registered Nurse with an Associate Degree or higher
