Job summary

Ogden Regional Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate unit activities across shifts. You will collaborate with the management team to direct nursing care in accordance with policies and to support an exceptional patient experience.

The role emphasizes staff development, interviewing and training, and optimizing patient throughput. Requires RN licensure, Neonate Resuscitation within 90 days, and BCLS instruction

Qualifications

• Neonate Resuscitation required within 90 days of start date
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• BCLS Instructor or Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of start date
• Degree: Associate or Bachelors in nursing or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in nursing leadership or similar role

Responsibilities

• Coordinate unit activities to ensure high-quality patient-centered care across shifts
• Lead and collaborate with management to monitor nursing care and policies
• Partner with subject matter experts to foster teamwork and improve outcomes
• Support patient-first initiatives and service recovery when needed
• Oversee staff scheduling and labor management to meet patient care needs
• Provide guidance on interviewing, training, and staff development actions
• Support inventory control and equipment/supply management
