Job summary

Ogden Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled NICU Nurse to deliver exceptional care to premature and sick newborns. You will provide around-the-clock care, support to parents, and collaborate with physicians to coordinate treatment plans.

The role emphasizes life-sustaining care, careful documentation, and educating families in home care steps. Utah RN license and ADN are required, with preferred bachelor’s degree and NICU experience.

Qualifications

• Current State of Utah or Compact Registered Nurse License.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certification in BLS/ACLS/PALS (available after hire).
• One year Registered Nurse experience required; NICU experience preferred.
• S.T.A.B.L.E. certification must obtain within 90 days from date of hire; NRP preferred.
• Must acquire NRP certification within 6 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform life-sustaining care for newborns and neonates as needed.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, provide nutrition to newborns.
• Maintain and update records of patient care for accuracy.
• Coordinate treatment plans with leadership and physicians.
• Educate parents on day-to-day operations, goals, and home care.
