Job summary
HCA HealthONE Rocky Mountain Childrens is seeking a Registered Nurse to assume leadership for directing and coordinating all unit functions during designated shifts. You will collaborate with the management team to assess care quality and support staff development.
The role requires current Colorado RN licensure, BLS, and NRP/PALS; BSN is preferred. Leadership experience and commitment to patient safety and high-quality outcomes are essential for success in this unit serving the Denver area.
Qualifications
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse or active multistate RN license.
- BLS – Healthcare provider certification.
- NRP or PALS required; NRP for attendance of newborns at delivery and new admissions.
- Special certifications as required by unit; ongoing professional development and competency.
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate all unit functions during designated shift.
- Serve as a resource person for staff and support ongoing education.
- Ensure overall quality of nursing care when on duty.
- Make decisions based on Administrative Operational Standards and Nursing Standards in collaboration with management.
