HCA HealthONE Rocky Mountain Children's is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to lead nursing operations on designated shifts. The role emphasizes coordinating functions, supporting staff education, and ensuring high quality patient care.

Applicants should hold Colorado RN licensure or a current multi-state license, with BSN preferred. Leadership experience is valued, and a commitment to safety and patient experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
• Education: BSN preferred. Activity in professional organizations encouraged.
• Experience: Two (2) years of clinical practice in the clinical specialty of his/her unit and leadership/ management experience is preferred.
• Special Qualifications: Continuing demonstration of clinical and leadership competency. Commitment to staffing and patient safety initiatives.
• Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Demonstrates organization, safe patient care, judgment, and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for direction and coordination of all functions during the designated shift.
• Functions as a resource person for staff and assists in education of nursing staff.
• Assumes responsibility for the overall quality of nursing care provided when on duty.
• Makes decisions based on Administrative Operational Standards, Nursing Administrative Standards, Human Resource Standards, and Standards of Care in collaboration with the management team.
