Tenet-AZ Region seeks a NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Charge Nurse (RN) in Peoria, Arizona. The role coordinates unit activities, mentors staff and ensures regulatory compliance while maintaining patient care quality.

You will oversee scheduling, delegate duties, and participate in orientation and competency processes, ensuring smooth operation of the NICU and adherence to standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school.
• L&D Advanced Fetal Monitoring or obtain within six months of hire.
• Two years relevant clinical nursing experience.
• Level III NICU experience incl. neonatal ventilator.

Responsabilités

• Coordinates functions and activities for a single department unit and coordinates RN scheduling.
• Trains and mentors staff and ensures orientation and annual competency checks.
• Provides patient care per standards and delegates to RNs, LPNs and CNAs as needed.
• Manages staffing decisions in day-to-day operations and budgets.
• Interacts with customers to ensure professional conduct and service quality.
