The ideal candidate has a nursing degree, neonatal experience, and current AZ RN licensure with ACLS/PALS as required, along with leadership capabilities for ongoing unit development.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• ACLS as applicable by facility.
• L&D: advanced fetal monitoring or must obtain within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate functions and activities for the NICU unit.
• Provide patient care and monitor effectiveness of care.
• Train and mentor staff; oversee orientation and competency checks.
• Schedule staffing, breaks, and coverage; ensure regulatory compliance.
