Job summary

Tenet-AZ Region in Goodyear, AZ seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for ICU – Intensive Care Unit to provide direct bedside care, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and supervise other healthcare staff as needed. The nurse will apply the nursing process, ensure patient safety, and participate in hourly rounds.

Requires an Arizona RN license, CPR, ACLS as applicable, and NICU experience per hospital requirements. The role emphasizes high-quality patient care in a fast-paced critical care setting.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Arizona RN license; CPR and ACLS as applicable by facility/department.
• Minimum two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
• NICU-specific qualifications and certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety/risk and discharge planning needs on admission and on an ongoing basis.
• Determine nursing diagnosis based on patient assessment and data analysis.
• Set practical, realistic and outcome-focused patient goals.
• Incorporate patient and family input to guide goal achievement.
• Individualize the plan of care based on patient needs and circumstances.
• Implement nursing and medical orders and ensure alignment with patient status.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the hospital.
