Job summary

AdventHealth Parker is seeking an experienced NICU nurse to coordinate patient care across units, develop individualized care plans, and monitor progress with a focus on timely, high‑quality patient outcomes.

You will collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists and the care team, supervise support staff, and educate families on care plans. Requires RN license, NICU experience and BLS; Cerner experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing and active RN license.
• Minimum 2 years NICU experience and BLS certification.
• Proficient with Cerner or similar EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care across PACU, inpatient units, Radiology and anesthesia.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on assessments.
• Monitor progress and communicate with physicians, staff and families.
• Supervise nursing assistants and support staff.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and disease management.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
