Job summary

AdventHealth in Parker, Colorado, is seeking an experienced RN for NICU to coordinate patient care across PACU, inpatient units, Radiology and anesthesia, developing tailored care plans from assessments and orders.

The role emphasizes supervising staff, documenting progress, and collaborating with physicians to ensure comprehensive, timely care while educating patients and families. This position offers full-time hours and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

Abstract reasoning to assess patient outcomes and revise plans.
Computer skills to navigate Windows-based programs.
Supervision experience and people leadership required.
Current nursing license and unit knowledge for all patients on the unit.
Strong communication with staff, patients, and physicians.

Responsibilities

Coordinate patient care across PACU, inpatient units, Radiology, and anesthesia.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments and orders.
Monitor progress, document updates, and adjust plans as needed.
Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and providers for coordinated care.
Educate patients and families about care plans and health management.
Respond to emergencies and provide stabilizing care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit operations.
