Job summary

AdventHealth in Parker, Colorado is seeking an experienced RN Leader for a full-time Night shift to oversee unit operations and patient care.

Responsibilities include directing shift activities, ensuring appropriate staff mix and admissions, conducting staff interviews, and improving documentation, charges, and outcomes while liaising with the care team. Prior OR RN leadership is preferred and licensure is required.

Qualifications

• >> Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• << Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• << RN licensure required with BLS certification.
• << Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience; RN leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, support, and coordination of unit’s daily operations during designated shift.
• Directs, organizes, and prioritizes shift activities to ensure patient care and staff needs are met.
• Assesses admissions/case appropriateness and staff mix for safe care.
• Participates in interviewing and staff development; provides feedback on performance.
• Conducts audits of documentation, charges, and outcomes; resolves patient issues with the care team.
• Monitors unit supply usage and costs; supports regulatory and accreditation compliance.
